The Town of Concrete is conducting an income survey to better determine the accurate median household income (MHI) in the service area. The MHI from the American Community Survey 2020 Census appears to be unreliable based on the MHI between 2019 and 2021 and our personal knowledge of the area.
The United States Department of Agriculture requires an impartial third party to perform the income survey. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS STICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, NO PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION WILL BE DISCLOSED.
The reason we have asked for this survey to be conducted is to determine the accurate MHI to better optimize our funding opportunities. If we do not receive enough responses funding agencies will continue to use the American Community Survey Census data, which may limit our community’s ability to optimize our funding resources.
WE STRONGLY urge those who receive a survey to complete the short survey form and return it to RCAC.
