Mears Field at Concrete provides a runway, fuel, and hangar options for professional and amateur aviators, as well as a Pilots Lounge.

The paved runway is 2600 feet long, 60′ wide, elevation is 267′, traffic patterns are to the south. CATF is 122.9 no unicom, no lights.

Airport Commission

The Airport Commission was created in August of 2025 and is granted the authority to make recommendations to the Town Council regarding construction, enlargement, improvement, maintenance, equipment, operation, and management, for the Mears Field Airport and associated facilities, and will remain in all these things accountable to the Town Council.

The first meeting of the Airport Commission occurred on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 6pm at the Concrete Town Hall.

The Airport Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting for July 2, 2026 has been rescheduled to occur on July 9, 2026 due to the 4th of July holiday and availability of Commissioners. Public Notice

Pilots Lounge

Our beautiful Pilots Lounge on the field is open to all pilots and guests. It is only a 1/2 mile walk from the airport to uptown Concrete with shops and restaurants.
